Acrylic-Based Waterborne Surface Leveling and Texturing Coat for Sports Systems

HQN Acrylic Resurfacer (HQN AC RS) is a high-quality, water-based acrylic coating designed to level, smooth, and texture surfaces prior to the application of acrylic sports coatings. It provides a uniform base layer that enhances surface consistency and ensures optimal bonding of subsequent coating layers.

The product is supplied without silica sand, allowing controlled adjustment of surface texture and performance based on project requirements.

• Remove dust, oil, grease, algae, and loose particles
• Repair cracks and damaged areas before application
• Ensure new concrete is properly cured (21–28 days)
• Apply HQN Acrylic Primer (HQN AC PR) prior to resurfacer application

• Stir thoroughly before use

✅ Recommended Mixing Ratio:

• AC RS : Silica Sand = 1 : 0.3 to 0.5 (30% – 50% sand by weight)
• Water: up to 10–20% (as required for workability)

✔ Use clean, dry, and well-graded silica sand
✔ Adjust sand content depending on required surface texture and leveling

⚠️ Avoid excessive water addition as it may reduce strength and durability

• Apply over primed surface using rubber squeegee
• Spread evenly to fill surface voids and irregularities
• Apply in one or more coats depending on substrate condition
• Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next layer
• Ensure uniform surface finish without ridges or pooling

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
• Keep containers tightly closed

• In case of contact, rinse immediately with clean water
